On Sunday, June 19, 2022, the Town of Green Level will host its second Juneteenth Celebration at Green Level Municipal Park, 1414 Swann Rd, Green Level, NC. Juneteenth, also know as Emancipation Day, celebrates June 19, 1865, arrived in Texas to deliver the final news of the Emancipation Proclamation. Festivities begin at 6:00 PM and include vendors, fireworks, food trucks, musical entertainment and more. Admission is free and open to the public.
